Club members from all over the state will be gathering again this summer at the birthplace of the CWC, Joaquin Miller Park. Berkeley Branch members are especially encouraged to participate in our annual LitCake Contest! (Because we have nearby kitchens, mostly.) You can win big prizes—especially the coveted Golden Fork award! Please bring a side dish to share and/or pitch in… sign up here!

After the CWC members picnic, the CWC is co-hosting ANOTHER potluck with  salon, this one open to all East Bay writing communities. To Build a Fire with The Heart of The Muse is part of the 2016 Jack London Legacy Celebration. Guests are invited to bring readings by early CWC authors (Jack London, Joaquin Miller, Ina Coolbrith, etc.), or works inspired by them.
