Join us Sunday, June 21st for a panel discussion about public speaking! Our panelists are:
- Award winning author Judith Marshall, member of the CWC Mt Diablo Branch. Judith knows her stuff! When she talks about her novel, Husbands May Come and Go, But Friends Are Forever, it is clear that she has a passion for writing and the industry that goes with it. Image is everything, and Ms. Marshall commands a room when she walks in. She will offer tips on being prepared, speaking with confidence, and perfecting the verbal pitch.
- Kymberlie Ingalls, President of the CWC Berkeley Branch, who knows what it’s like to be terrified of public speaking. Having to overcome obstacles every day that make this task a challenge, she can relate these experiences and will encourage you to build yourself up and hold yourself steady. This is an important skill when participating in readings, industry speeches, and networking a room. And finally,
- Roger Ingalls, who comes to us from another industry as a high-tech professional with 30 years of experience in marketing and sales. He knows the power of a presentation and how to get the job done. Ingalls will offer insight to what can make or break a deal.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Click here for information about location and time.
