Hey, all you CWC folks!

This Sunday the Berkeley Branch proudly presents British-born author Mary-Rose Hayes, who has written nine novels, including the best-seller Amethyst, two political thrillers coauthored with
Senator Barbara Boxer, and her latest, What She Had to Do.

Here’s the schedule for Sunday’s meeting:

1:00 p.m. Library doors open, Marketing Group meets, Meeting Setup
2:00 p.m. Refreshments & Networking
2:30 p.m. Business & Announcements
2:45 p.m. CWC-BB Member Reading
3:00 p.m. Featured Speaker – Mary-Rose Hayes

As always, the meeting will be in the Bradley C. Walters Community Room in the basement of Oakland Library’s main branch (125 14th St.) Light refreshments will be served. Entrance also on Madison between 13th and 14th Streets.

And speaking of refreshments…come swig a pint of beer, eat some popcorn, play a board game, and maybe even throw a few darts with (not at!) other writers at the Albatross Pub (1822 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley). We’ll gather in the back at 5:00 on Friday, March 28. It’s a no-host, cash-only purely social event that promises to be lots of fun! Bring your spouses, friends, family members (21 and over), agents, even casual acquaintances. All are welcome.
