The California Writers Club is a nonprofit professional organization open to writers in every genre and at every level of experience, from novice to notable. Our purpose is to promote fellowship and to provide practical information that supports all members in achieving their publishing goals.

Come to our meetings and enjoy our programs, which are open to the public. Enter a contest. Become a member and enjoy all the benefits, which include critique groups of all kinds, a monthly newsletter, and the ability to share your news with a supportive community as your writing career takes off.

are you able to do a group of 5th graders on one story or only one one student per story

I don’t think we’ve ever had anyone ask that question! I suppose we would be open to a group story, but of course the winners would have to divide the prize money.
