Meetings
Except for July, August, and December, we meet on the third Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Bradley C. Walters Community Room (formerly the West Auditorium) of the Main Library in Oakland at 125 14th Street (View Map). There is an entrance directly to the meeting room from Madison Street. Free street parking is available. The library is a short walk from the Lake Merritt BART station.
Our meetings always include a speaker program featuring writers, editors, teachers, publishers, and agents to speak about writing and publishing, and an appearance by a published club member.
These meetings are open to the public and without charge.
The December meeting is our holiday luncheon at a venue to be announced and typically on the first Saturday. Check the calendar for details later in the year.
